A small independent café built around good coffee, unhurried brunch, and food made fresh each morning.
Our story
We opened because the street needed somewhere unhurried.
The Corner Table started in 2019, in a small unit on Main Street that had stood empty for two years. We wanted proper coffee, food we would actually want to eat, and enough space to sit down without being rushed.
Everything on the menu is prepped and baked here each morning. If we cannot make it well ourselves, or find someone local who can, it does not go on the menu.
What we stand for
Three things we will not compromise on.
Locally sourced
Bread from the bakery two doors down, eggs and dairy from a farm we can drive to, beans from the next town.
Community first
The corner table itself is kept free each day for anyone who needs a quiet hour. No purchase required.
Made by hand
Nothing arrives pre-made or frozen. If that means selling out of croissants by 11am on a Saturday, so be it.

We are open seven days a week. Reservations are optional, but recommended for weekend brunch.
